How to Get to Hillside Guesthouse

Use the directions below to find Hillside Guesthouse from Durban, Johannesburg or King Shaka International Airport.

Follow the M4 North until you come to the Umhlanga Rocks off ramp (not Umhlanga/La Lucia Ridge, the next one).
Take this exit and turn right at the traffic light into Lighthouse Road, over the M4.
At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Ridge Road.
Cross over Ocean Drive and continue along Ridge Road to the small circle.
Turn left into Durban View road and we are the first house on the right hand side, number 12.

From the N3 approaching Durban take a left turn onto the N2 (North Coast).
Follow the N2 until you come to the Umhlanga Rocks/Mount Edgecombe (M41) off-ramp.
Take this off ramp and head towards Umhlanga Rocks.
Take the SECOND exit onto Umhlanga Rocks Drive.
Turn left at the traffic light and continue along Umhlanga Rocks Drive.
Go through the first circle (East Coast Radio House and MacDonalds on your left, the FNB building is on the right).
At the second circle (just before the Sharks Board) turn right (3rd exit) into Umhlanga Rocks Drive.
Continue down the hill and at the fourth set of robots, (first robot after M4) turn right into Ridge Road.
Cross over Ocean Drive and continue along Ridge Road to the small circle.
Turn left into Durban View road and we are the first house on the right hand side, number 12.

Follow the N2 south until you come to the Umhlanga Rocks/Mount Edgecombe exit no 41.
Take this off ramp and head towards Umhlanga Rocks.
Take the SECOND exit onto Umhlanga Rocks Drive.
Turn left at the traffic light and continue along Umhlanga Rocks Drive.
